My dog unfortunately broke his foot today while we are out of town and he was with his sitter. She quickly rushed him here and they got him in and taken care of so quickly! The communication and care was outstanding! While we don’t want to need an emergency vet, I am so grateful for them. Bruno is home and healing.

We had the unfortunate need several years ago to bring our dog for emergency services. The staff were extremely friendly and comforting at 1 in the morning. More recently, we had the circumstances to bring our Rottie pup for rehab of his broken leg at 6 weeks of age. Our vet was afraid his leg would need to be amputated. Thanks to the Great rehab staff, he is running around as an active pup should.

The staff and medical team were kind, clear, and supportive in communicating with and helping us. I appreciated Dr. Moseley’s timely follow up calls and the effective emergency treatment. They saved my 13-year-old cat's life and set appropriate (guarded) expectations for prognosis with congestive heart failure. It bought my cat and me a couple of days at home together, after which point it was apparent he wasn’t improving and we brought him to Banfield for advice. At Banfield, a X-ray revealed that my cat was likely not eating/drinking/using litterbox because of new fluid buildup and a urinary blockage. Despite his placid demeanor my cat must have been in significant pain, without a high chance of recovery, and we chose to euthanize. As I mentioned before, the emergency vet had set appropriate expectations for my cat’s recovery and got him through the immediate crisis. There was a chance that following up with a veterinary cardiologist would buy him months of life. We had to try. I had never dealt with CHF in a cat before, and he had only a (grade 3 or 4, of 6) heart murmur at his checkup, the prior month. Especially if your pet has a heart murmur, pay attention and call the vet if your pet acts lethargic and has low appetite, infrequent coughing, and a faster breathing rate. If you find your pet in an emergency medical situation, I would highly recommend using this veterinary emergency hospital. They had an oxygen cage, which my usual emergency vet lacked, and took us in near midnight on a Friday. The pictures show 1) my CHF cat as a bottle baby, 2) my 20-year-old calico - who had chronic kidney disease and was euthanized, two weeks before my CHF kitty, and 3) my CHF cat, seemingly placid, the day after returning from the emergency vet. The vet teams at Veterinary Emergency Care and the Banfield locations, on Highway 54 and Witherspoon Blvd, made a very difficult period of time feel more manageable. They’re highly competent and caring. I can’t say enough goo

I went to put my beloved dog down after she could not stand…she was 13yo. The most important thing was for my girl not to suffer and to be put down as quickly as possible. In a most loving and kind way, Vet emergency care was able to do that for us. The staffs compassion and professionalism was apparent and deeply appreciated.

We had a great experience - everyone was super friendly and very knowledgeable and the overall affect was that I knew we were in good hands. Dr Shults and Maddie were great at explaining things so I felt comfortable and Ella was clearly feeling safe as she was relaxed most of the time.

They we super nice on the phone, service and follow up were very quick. Dog was treated and immediately I received a follow-up - all in less than an hour. Super supportive staff. All done over the phone while we were out of town.

I cannot express how grateful I am for the way my service dog Lea has been cared for at Veterinary Rehab. All the staff there is great and really care about their clients. However, Michael and Leah go above and beyond to ensure we are taken care of. Being a veteran with PTSD, my service dog is my anchor. Leah and Michael have been amazing helping me navigate this stressful situation. And best of all, my girl Lea is healing well. If your pet needs emergency care or rehab.... come here!!!!!

Took my dog here on the weekend after her ear filled with blood again. It was affecting her balance and she was a bit lethargic. We were taken to an exam room right away. We discussed options and I opted for surgery. She went in sluggish and whimpering and came out with her tail wagging and jumping to play. Great service, caring staff, and smooth billing. If your pet needs emergency care I cannot recommend them enough.

This team was very solid and helpful in an emergency. My pup was hit by a car and we were able to walk-in immediately during the snow storm. Took no more than 5 minutes to get her to the back and with the vet tech. They were able to give me pricing up front and no BS which I love because I didn't have to wonder how much it was going to be. After an hour they stabilized my dog and told me to go home and I felt really good with the comms and the quote for best/worst case scenario. The follow up calls came on my cell with updates and baselines which helped me process the recovery process. Pick up was a breeze and they proactively refunded me for what they didn't use but had assumed. Really not rocket science and they are running the vet clinic like a well oiled business.
